Does anyone have a link to the Goldwave Jaws scripts? None of the links I
have are working.

Any ideas, I cannot move the finish marker in either direction. I can

Hi Ron
They don't move at all for me. They stay in the same place. I could move the
start markerwithout a problem, but not the end marker.

Not a problem there. It's only when trying to manually move the finish

Bruce, that was it, exactly.
Thank you.
I re-mapped my Winamp keys, and lo behold, I can now move my finish marker.
I guess it doesn't matter if Winamp was open or not because I never had both
programs open at the same time.

that I must download the flash player.
Pleas help.
There are some great tutorials out there having to do with music, music
production, a lot of distance learning courses from various schools that use
and need the flash player. I'd like to watch them. H
It's probably scanning for plugins.
Where do you shut that off anyway?

Has anyone found a way of playing .mov files? They are Quicktime files?
Quicktime is semi-accessible if you could get past the first splash screen.
I haven't been abel to do it yet.

Any tips. I managed to crash it on the first .mov file.
Where can I find the key shortcuts? I was able to figure out that spacebar
plays and stops. Outside of that I can't seem to get to the default hotkey
list in the documentation.

Hi Kevin
You have to choose DVD in the first screen when Nero comes up. It's a combo
box, just tab around. You probably have it set to CD right now.

I've tried soundforge which doesn't play them. Winamp plays them, but the
volume goes up and down on a steady basis.
I'll try Goldwave.

That doesn't sound like an mp3directcut file. When you split an mp3 in
mp3directcut, all the splits will be .mp3's.
Do your splits again and pay close attention to where mp3directcut puts your
files.

Hi Michael
If you're looking for very simple editing, try GoldWave. There are Jaws
scripts for it which make it extremely useable. I got up and running within
30 minutes. It's not as extensive as Sound Forge, but for me, I found
GoldWave much easier. At least for simple
For free media players, you can't beat Winamp especially for its
accessibility. Plus, you can burn CD's with it. That part of Winamp is not
free, but it's very inexpensive. I think it's under 20 dollars.
There very few formats that Winamp will not play.

Can I get it back to what it use to be. Fast forwarding and rewinding all at

Get yourself a virtual cd drive emulator like daemon tools. I'm not sure
that it plays .cif files, but you can convert that image to something that
it will read like .iso or something else.
It's a very easy program and all menu driven.
You could write me off list and I'll try to help.
