I am looking for a 1 gig unit which does not require special pc software. It
would be nice if the unit had resume on startup and be reasonably accessible!
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Kathy!
Thanks for this!
That resume function is very important to me! since the only books I will be
reading from this player are the net library's. And, as you know, they are
all huge single files. It would be a nightmare to have to look for the spot
where you have left off!
I am currently

Hello,
I have installed and registered the program but when I open a document, I
can't read it for some reason. The edit box is empty! When I hit insert t,
the loaded file is announced!
What am I missing?

They're not expensive and really makes all the functions of SF accessible.
Look for The Snowman on google and you'll find them easily!

Hi Michael!
Am I to assume by your answer that it is not possible to search all news

If not, I'll certainly investigate your suggestions!

Thanks for this information on the ac3 to mp3 tool.
On that subject, do you know of a program that will strip the audio portion

I can burn an audio file that has been edited in Sound Forge 8 using just about
any burning software you can think of.
I have used Nero, CD Architect, Sound Forge itself...
What format do you save your Sound Forge file to?

Hey Larry!
I was going to ask the same question because that's about the only thing that
comes to mind!
Just make sure that you save the file as 44.1 KHz, 16 bits, stereo.

Hey Brian!
Are you using rockbox?
If you are, then you just put your music in a new folder you create with
Windows explorer.
Of course, you then have to boot to rockbox.
If you boot to the I Pod firmware, then you won't see this folder and would
have to use I Tune to read your music files.
Jean
Hi Kevin.
Does your new I River supports protected WMA files with the rockbox
software?
Thanks Jean

Hello Christopher.
When you install naturally speaking, how do you train it without speech
