I've been a user of RedButton for a while and like the program. I'm not
sure how it compares to Replay because I'm just now investigating this
program.
RedButton and RadioTime are very handy resources in my opinion. I use a
Squeeze Box (http://www.slimdevices.com) to stream audio in my house and
For those familiar with Replay AV, how comprehensive is the database of
actual shows on radio stations? One thing I really like about Radio Time
and RedButton is that the database of shows on each radio station is quite
complete.
This was certainly not a formal comparison but in looking up a few

Hello,
Apologies if this has been discussed here already but I didn't see it.
Folks here turned me on to the Squeeze Box more than a year ago and I've
been very pleased.
However, I just updated to the 7.0 version of the Slim Server Software for
streaming to a Squeeze Box and initial impressions

Hello,
I'd appreciate any advice folks who have more experience doing PC recording
can share on basic setup to produce reasonable recordings of screen reader
audio along with voice recording. I have some experience in the area but
most of my recording has been making edits to sound files I record
Any suggestions on a good mixer? If there are blogs are other links where
this has been asked repeatedly and answered, feel free to point me there.

Hello,
I recall that the Pandora music service has been talked about a time or two
on this list. I thought I'd share a couple items I found of note related to
how the service integrates with the Squeezebox music player from Logitech
when updating to the latest version of the Squeeze Center sof
Hello,
I recently purchased a pretty basic computer to do some Win7 testing on at
home until the final OS is released. The machine came with audio listed as
VIA VT1708B 8-channel high-definition audio. I'm wondering if anyone has
experience with this at all.
The sound for music is fine but what
Hello,
Does anyone know how to determine the version of a Sound Blaster X-FI card
that is installed on a machine? When I look in Device Manager, what shows
up is just X-FI. I'm trying to determine if the card is just an X-FI card
or an X-FI Titanium. If anyone has the X-FI Titanium can you tell
Hi,
I find http://content.usatoday.com/sportsdata/scores works well. You can
just arrow through the scores or if you are familiar with list navigation
commands in your screen reader, jump from game to game.

I'd like to clean up some of the details on some of my music files and was
wondering what folks found to be a good accessible program to do this.

This isn't a screen reader issue and system access has the same challenges.
This is the way the flash has been created.
For the person asking about pre-season games, my understanding is you have
to pay $25 for the archives now once the game is over.

Assuming this person is using a newer Macintosh, they'd use VoiceOver, which
is the built-in screen reader on the Mac.
There are some good resources and mailing lists off of

I've been able to control the audio just fine using the standard WMP
hotkeys. I have to use the pass key or bypass key option for whatever
screen reader I'm using but I listened to a few different games and changed
volume with keys like F8 and F9. I have WMP11.

Do you have scripts for Sound Forge installed. I know this is a feature of
scripts for this program. Press ins+q and see what scripts are loaded. If
Sound Forge scripts are loaded, press ins+h and there should be
instructions.
Also make sure that screen echo is set to highlighted by toggling th
Hello,
I'm trying to reduce the number of speakers I have for audio output from a
batch of computers I use in my office at work. In days of old I plugged
several computers into a mixing board but that board quit working years ago.
I'd like the audio from all the computers to play on one set of

Any pointers on where to look to solve the following:
I've configured my system to use the line in jack as the default recording
device and ensured that this is also what Gold Wave shows it will be using.
I've verified that line in recording works through sound recorder and the
