Hi Sam -- Got your messages re: Ms. Ryan. I will call you later. Going out to
a meeting today and will call later.
Below is a radio station that sounds like it might be of interest to you. I
have not gone to check it out, but thought of you when I read it.

Hi Jim
I just saw your enquiry. I don't have the Sonos Conect:Amp, but I do have the
Sonos Connect. So I don't know how good the Connect Amp is at powering Speakers
and How they would sound. I got the Connect which feeds my Arcam AVR750
receiver with a digital signal which in turn powers a 5.1 s
Wonderful stuff, I'm considering the purchase of one of these even
though I won't be able to play my HD music collection with it, its still
a convenient way to play Music Subscription services, right there all in
one place.
I have to admit to being a little hesitant to purchase right away as
Hi Dane
Regarding your comments on the Sonos Speakers and their limitations. I wouldn't
argue. Just a point of clarification: they don't do Bluetooth - none of the
range do. I like my Sonos Play 1's which I use in the bedroom, but they would
be so much better with Bluetooth. They do play the mus
Thank you for that.
Perhaps - now we have Bluetooth AptX - later models of Sonos may
incorporate Bluetooth streaming but then again, AptX isn't compatible
with IOS so perhaps Sonos will prefer to not to mention Bluetooth and
hope people don't mention it iether .
Bluetooth AptX is yet another
Has anyone bothered to use IOS 10 with AirPlay?
I'm wondering if you've noticed what I have if you go into the control
center and activate AirPlay from there.
On my iPhone I only see the option to Mirror to an Apple TV - which I
don't have at the moment - and I don't see an option to stream a
You can still get to the audio airplay in control center, although you might
not know it because it's in adequately labeled. If you go to "page 2, in your
control center view, by doing the iOS page change three finger flick, one of
the things you will see in there with other music controls is th
On your last point about the AirPlay button being available in other
Apps I agree with you and hope they bring it back and thanks for the tip
about AirPlay in the Control Center, I'll give that a try in a few
minutes and that will solve my problems in that area.

You mention you have some Bowers And Wilkins speakers as part of your system so
which models do you have? I’m looking at their range of floor standing models
for the lounge, a bit of saving to do to own a pair of those but - if the B&W

Okay thanks for that, I found the iPhone icon in the Control center, it was
where you said on page two, would never have known about it had you not
mentioned it.

Well, they don't exactly advertise it, nor is it well labeled. At least it is
still there.

Surely Apple wouldn't invent a whole system of Airplaying audio using a
method different from anyone else to thousands of appliances designed just
for it and depended upon by millions of people just to get rid of it? No,
that doesn't sound like Apple! (Grin)
