Anyone had any experience with one of these animals? I am unable to get the
unit to work via firewire.

Have you been able to get the firewire port on your computer to work with
any other firewire device?
Were there firewire interface drivers for the Behringer?
Have you been able to get the 1616 to work by connecting it to your computer
by USB? In other words, the 1616 does work properly?

This certainly could be the case as I don’t see it stocked along with other
Ruark radio models any longer - the Ruark Radio Gram which has Internet radio
is still available but not the smaller tabletop model it seems -.
