HI,
Ok. Hmm maybe I should make a playlist then.
It's no big deal.

Hi, in my free version, i have lost the ability to choose what rate i
want the conversion to be. in your paid version, can you choose the
rate you want. brian.
I still use the free version of switch; not sure...but I believe I can still
change the bit rate! I have raised several files from 128 to 320 with no
problem!

Hi. Why are you increasing the bit rate from 128 to 320? You are not
increasing the quality in any way, you will stillhave a file with 128kbs
quality but the file will be larger without any increase of quality.
Walter.

Tom, you are absolutely not increasing the file quality by doing so.
All you are doing is increasing the file size.

Okay...then I must have gotten incorrect information; it may be "mind over

So is there another way to increase the sound quality ty of a file that is
say...at 128?

hi tom, i have been using the free switch successfully for months.
today however, when i went to encoder options, and enter it, instead
of finding the usual menus including the place to choose what rate i
wanted, i got an offering of five choices, and no mention of rate
values. i couldn't go a
Hi. strictly speaking no, not in the file itself. A 128kbs quality file
will always be a 128kbs quality file. You can downgrade from 128kbs but if
you do that, you will never get a 128kbs quality again for that file.
However what you can do is improve the quality of the reproduction in
playback.
If you are starting out with a wav, then you will increase the quality,
I would convert to flac if I wanted good quality.

once a file is encrypted, it can never be improved.

I hear all of what you folks are saying; I do have a question: before the

Hi. What contents do the files have? Is it music, or spoken word? If it
is the spoken word then you could try reducing the bit rate and see if that
will play because the spoken word doesn't have to be at 128kbs. On the
other hand, if it is music then I don't really know the answer to that
quest
the player has a minimum bit rate at which it will decrypt the files,
so it works.

The files are music (we usually don't have as much trouble with files not
playing with the latest version of the client now; what I am saying
is...often someone would have a file that wouldn't play (with the older
version of the chat client) raising the bit rate usually would allow it then
to play!
Speakers in this thing sound very good indeed!

Have you heard the mini 2 with retina display? I have one of those, and
the sound is ok, but not special. Kindle fire hd 7 of about the same

To be fair I can’t compare the Mini 4 with any other of the devices you’ve

I don’t agree with that actually, I believe the iPad Pro is designed for those

Sorry but I’m not able to follow your mode of speech in your email .
I just priced an iPad Pro 128GB version with Wi-Fi - no facility for cellular
data - and in Australian dollars its available for $1400 so probably halve that
nearly for the U.S. market.
Only me but as things go I think I’d be
