Why not just convert this MP4 video to another video format with your
audio/video converter program? Like WMV or whaterver but note WMV will be a
much bigger file size and plays in Windows Media Player. If you convert it

I would avoid messing with video converters if possible. You may indeed get
a much bigger file and the quality may in fact be worse. You're probably
just better off using vlc if you absolutely can't get winamp to play this

One consideration, at least in Winamp, is that if you want to go 45 minutes
into a variable bit file, the time accuracy can't be trusted. I'm not sure
