have just got a new USB stereo mic for use with my laptop, as it doesn't have
any standard mic inputs, and I don't think much of the built in mic on it, but
am having a problem.
when I plug the mic in, I lose all sound, and far worse, my window-eyes speech.

Hi, You probably don't have los of sound.
If your mike has an audio or earphone jack, you will find that all the sound
has ben rerouted to that usb audio output.
You can hear your screen reader from that audio output.
You'll have to move hyour audio speaker input so that you can hear your

Firstly, I have written to poikasoft.
Anyway, when I rip a cd, it is creating very small files,
they may be 5 mb in total, I am getting the sound when the
cd has been ripped, it may 118 mb if I rip the cd with wmp
but with easy cd extracter I am only getting 5 mb. Very

occurred to me what may be happening with your CD Extractor: can you go in a
menu and change the bit rate that CD Extractor (I hope I have this right)
which ever CD ripper you are using that gives you the lower bit rate, go in
