Samsung Galaxy line of products, are they accessible?

2012-01-14 Thread Clifford Blackwell
Samsung seems to be trying to compeat with Apple's iPad and iPod Touch with their Galaxy line of Android accessible products. Are there any screen readers that work with these? Will the Code Factory products work with Android 2.3.5 and hence one of these beasties? Any thoughts or information

I'm not the man to answer your questions, that's why I suggested the techno-chat list. I do intend to look at Android and accessibility later on in the year when it will be advantageous for me to get a new Phone but until that? Well I'm happy with my iPhone . On 15/01/2012, at 2:36 AM, Cliffo

For my part, this is clearly off topic for this list, but obviously it's ultimately up to Tom to decide. If any topic related to cell phones or screen readers was on topic for this list then we'd quickly be overwhelmed. I think this is evident given how many lists there are dedicated to screen read

At least the matter was dealt with in part and I would hope! that if anyone else had questions that they were at least given some leads to follow rather than met with an arrogant response as demonstrated in the last couple of messages, again couldn't be any worse than talking about RAR archives

I'm not sure I see the arrogance you do. It looks to me like we just have two sides of an issue. Both sides seem to be stating their case with equal certitude, so if there's any arrogance it's on both sides. I also don't understand the reference to RAR files. Hello, Under the menu bar, you can read the length and, when the track is running, how much data has been played in minutes and seconds. Maybe even hours, as well. can you hear whether the track is stereo or Mono? I think that info is located at the bottom of the sound window. Good
