goldwave or audacity to edit instead? sf isn't horribly accessible with

Thanks Barry,
When I pressed insert plus shift plus t while playing a file, winamp says
nothing. That could be a matter of running the correct jaws scripts.
Two things that might matter here: Attempting to create an audio CD, the

I did it: Started with .wav files and finished with the same results. CDA
files that say they are shortcuts. And a fourth coaster--though I haven't
tried it on a CD player yet.

Hi all,
In case people weren't aware TapinRadio version 1.50 and higher now
comes with an add-on called SweetIM that enhances instant messaging.
During the installation of TapinRadio two check boxes to install SweetIM
are checked by default. Whether you install SweetIM is completely up to
you

Hi all,
For those who are trying to use Goldwave 5.65, what message do you hear when
you select audio and try to copy it?
To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to:
pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
Nothing. It selected audio and copied fine. GoldWave 5.65 and NVDA under
Windows 7 64.

Thanks. Here is what I had to do.
1. Select the second radio button, which is custom installation.
2. Tab to and uncheck all three boxes.
3. The rest of the install is the same as before.

Oops! I may have inadvertently installed what I didn't want! If so, can
those "add-ons" be removed? And would "Add-Remove programs" tell me if I
have installed parts of Tapin Radio I don't need?

Yes, me; the programme works fine, it's just the lack of feedback I already
complained about that is the issue. If you're not concerned about that (and
not using JAWS, you probably don't have to be), go ahead and upgrade, I'd
say.

Again, this is jaws specific, and has to do with the scripts that were
written for the programme. Of course the selection/pasting does actually
work, even if jaws thinks it does not.

SF works just fine with JAWS. It should play the files too.

I use SF with Window-Eyes, and while a little work could be done to make
certain things work better, I find it to work

Dave, I don't have a 48-bit file handy, but I can try to create one to see what
happens. However, I would go to
Options and Preferences, and then
Hm...well that's interesting, and potentially more problematic, because
those GW messages should not be coming up if the processes actually function
correctly...
Very strange.

My first question here would be if a recording at 16 bit instead of 24 bit
records alright? If so, then most likely the issue is that his soundcard
can't handle 24 bit sound.
I have no problem with 24 bit recordings on my computer, but 32 bit will
record and I can save and play the file back
