Hi!
Anyone out there used audio editing software on an Asus EEEPC Netbook, have you
found any problems or issues I should be aware of before going down this road?
I probably won't bother with Sound Forge but I'll certainly be giving Goldwave
a try not to mention the Winamp player and Total Reco
Hi!
I've had one of these radio sets for a little while now and I've just updated
my blog with the first part of my review of the set.

Hi all.
I have an Asus netbook. GoldWave and Total Recorder appear to work fine.
Of course don't expect immediate results with it being a netbook but as
they are lightweight programs they will work just fine.
Take care.

Hi Dane.
I don't know how much memory you have, but my experience tells me that the
more ram you have on one of those netbooks for that sort of thing the
better. Goldwave should not pose much of a problem, but you might get more
stability if you could make sure the processor priority is lower than
Sorry everyone, got the model number wrong, its ls-150
They're not a power house as far as speakers go by any manner of means,
about 2 watts but then again they are USB powered speakers .

This may be interesting to those of you who have questions about what
Rockbox can do on an affordable MP3 player.
News Wire:
Laz MESA will be discussing Rockbox, a replacement firmware which can
be used with some MP3 players and which takes advantage of the
hardware capabilities of the MP3 pl
Only have one comment to this, if the blind want to be continually
ripped off then go here, why would anyone apy extra to buy a MP3 player
and have Rockbox installed when they can do it themselves, rockbox is
available free of charge but its a free country so do as you feel.

Hmm, not sure about this, bordering on going against the Rockbox open licence
agreement, as you'll see from his web site he's selling Rockbox installed on
the player.

I would wonder if he could get around that by just saying he is charging for
the labor to do it? Instead of charging any money for the actual program?
Just a thought. I don't like the policy though. As you stated I believe it
is free and easy to install.

The Rockbox folder is very complex. In order for files to be spoken, there are
some utilities which must be run. These are in another folder which is a part
of what Mr. Mesa has in his Sansa players.
I think it's wonderful to see that he has taken the time and trouble to offer
these products.
Okay, well I'd like to make it clear that I certainly don't want to ruin
anyone's reputation and I agree! the more products the blind have access to
then the better.
I've made my points and again its all down to freedom of choice.
