decripter for copying the dvd content onto your computer, and another it is
a burner, to burn the copyed dvd on a blank disk.

well this recorder has 2 built in mikes, and it has no menus at all, you can
even record in mp3, and you can also connect external mikes to it if you
want to.
do you just only want the recorder for your voice only or do you want a
multitrack one?

If you're happy with the quality of the stereo mike then why not just use this?
Its obviously going to be in mono when you transfer to your phone so there's
really no big deal.

Well with that you can get a Zoom H1 with plenty of change, enough to buy you a

I could have recorded it directly in MP3 but forgot to flick the format switch
but it didn't matter, had to copy the file to the computer anyway to
email it so its just as easy to compress into MP3 once its on the machine.

There's a particular high end solid state recorder I like to use from the
Equipment Centre at the BBC which I find extremely accessible ... Though I've

I've still got an old Superscop stereo cassette recorder of 30 years vintage,
that piece of what was once "State Of The Art" portable studio recording
equipment still sounds good! . at least its accessible .
