What access software do you use? If Jaws, ensure you have the latest Jim
Grimsbey scripts if WindowEyes, I assume there is a setfile so ensure you

There is actually a GoldWave script for Window-Eyes. It is very simple but

Hello. I may launch a podcast where I sometimes interview people using the
Plextalk Pocket. I'd like recommendations for a good stereo microphone for
capturing the interview. I think it needs to be powered.
Thanks for any experiences.

Greetings,
I am not sure if it is still made but I use a Sony ECM970 which is a small
hand-held single-point stereo-mic with three-position switch - towards the
hand is off, middle is narow- and nearest the head is wide-band stereo. It
is powered by a single AA batterey, I have a metal hydride in
Greetings,
I forgot to say the mic is about five inches long and easily held in the
hand, it comes with the usual 3.5mm plugged into the usual 6.4mm adaptor so
can be used in either format. Cost in the UK about £70, sorry, don't know
what it is in dollars.

that is an excellent mic and use it all the time.

I wish I hadn't lost the cable to my Nady CM-2S so soon after getting it,
but I own one and am impressed with its sound...Just be careful with
handling noise. It is ery comparable, at a lower price, to the now
discontinued Audio Technica AT822.

Greetings,
the sony mic comes with it's own pop-guard, I think I gave ECM970 as the
model number, thinking further, I think the one I actually have is the
ECM950.

accessible as possible, but I need help doing so. I am used to Winamp giving
me the track title and length, etc., but I can't find this info when playing
tracks in Media Player. Using Jaws 10 or 8 with XP Home. Ri

version of WMP you are using..but I'm running WMP 11..and I see no way to
access that information! Not only that, but it doesn't seem like there's a
way to move backward or forward in a track or file! So maybe there a

Hi people,
In WMP 11, use control + tab to place focus in the seek slider. I'm
using Jaws 9, and when I land on this slider Jaws says "to increase
or decrease use arrow keys...right/up arrow to increase, left/down
arrow to decrease."
Hope this works for you all...

Hello Norma and list: Yes..that does work. However it's not real
precise..but it can move you through a file; you just have no real way to
tell where you are as you can with Winamp!
