Hi Nolan, and this sounds very very anoying! First off I'm not on SF9, but still using SF7. I had issues rather like this last year and found updating my soundcard driver to be the solution. To make a general point, updating drivers for soundcards, video and keyboard is a really good idea anyway

I would use the command line to achieve what you want. For simplicity, perhaps put the files into the root folder of drive c:, or some other easy p lace you can find. The easiest scenario would be if you wanted all the files from the book to end up in one file. So if the book is called my multifil

I found the bet way to handle this problem is to select all the files within a folder you want to merge with the ctrl A key. then go down the list of selected files removing the ones you don't want to be merged in the big file you are creating. open the final selection and zoom to the top of the
