I use Switch to convert the WMA files to MP3.
It is only when I'm listening to these files to make sure that they're ok, I
hear a change in the sound quality.
A lot of these files are from CD's that I ripped to my hard drive using
Windows Media Player, but I play them back in Winamp.

I recently bought an Eee PC from Asus. A great little goodie but the
sound card has that stupid RealTek driver in it and I can't get it to do
anything!! Neither the tab or alt keys do anything at all. When you
