Yes indeed, you do need to buy Light Scribe Discs to print images using this
method.
When I bought my Philips USB Light Scribe burner it came bundled with Nero 7
or 8 which does allow for the creation or transfer of images to these discs.

I think you might've gotten your hotkeys a little confused there. To
set a time marker, you press the letter m, all on its own.
This goes for both JAWS and Window-eyes as well.
