What I do is I open my sound editor, shut down my screen reader, set it to
record and start the song playing. If you don't have a sound editor, I
suggest Goldwave or if you want a free one, try audacity. I believe the
address for Audacity is
www.audacity.sourceforge.net
For goldwave, it is

If you live in the USA you can use NBC's Olympics website to watch live events
or pre-recorded events. For example I heard the parade of nations today. You
need to install Silverlight and it works for me. Note many events are without
announcers - no speech commentary. You enter your zip code and
Hi All,
I am looking for some freeware that will allow for removing duplicate files
in a directory. For example, if you have more than one version of a song in
a directory but at different bit rates etc.
Thanks for any help in advance and have a great weekend.

Well that's not quite true, your cable provider has to have subscribed to
the NBC Olympics program network. My cable doesn't so I can't watch.

Hi all,
Has anyone gotten any experience using the zen 16gb drive?
If so, is there a way to copy files without using WMP? I want to copy some
audio files to the player, but really would like to use Windows Explorer to
copy the files.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

Hi, I do not know much about this particular zenstone device but as far
as the others, if it works like my zen, you just plug it in and with
windows it shold appear in the my com folder. Just click on the zen
folder device and it shold open. You simply begin copying the files from
your audio files
Just downloaded and installed it. Found, though, that I couldn't get either
speech or braille when arrowing up and down the track list on the ripper
page. Immediately downgraded to 11.0.1.0. Has anyone had any luck in
resolving this issue? Has Jukka been apprised of it?
Thanks.

Thanks for the response.
I wish it was that simple, but it looks as though one must use WMP, and I
really don't like that program.
If anyone else has any suggestions, please let me know what you think.
Again, thanks much.

Hi Dane,
I know this message goes back a way, but I saved it because it seemed
interesting. Do you still use this phonne? Is it still available? Is there a
model that is simillar that has superseeded it?
I think I know the answer to the last question, Does it run with a speech
program, no!
