Hello, Folks! I'm new to this list, and look forward to being part
of this list.
I'm totally blind, and am thinking of purchasing the full version of
Sound Forge 9. I recently bought the NBP braille cheat sheet. It
refers to commands for Version 8. Is version 9 still
accessible? Thanks in
Hello List Members,
If you haven't heard the news, here it is.
The days of running Windows XP on our systems are or have come to an end.
This means trouble for some of us that have a fancy to some audio editors,
because they aren't compatible with VISTA.
The audio editor of my choice is DC-7, but
I upgraded from Sound Forge version 6 to version 9, so haven't actually used
version 8. The accessibility of version 9 is about the
same as for version 6 and probably for version 8, at least for the things I
need to do. This includes cutting, copying, pasting,
fading, normalising, equalising,

Ok All and thanks for all your past helps.
I need to record some Russian sound bits for a story I am doing, on one

I can
Hello,
Can you download those sound clips?
I'm asking because if you can, then there is really no need to record them.
But if you jest want to anyway, you can do this in Total Recorder.
You can set it up to record what you hear.
My best regards.
John.

monitor levels.

Hi Peter,
I usually set my levels by ear a little lower than I want, then either
normalise, or if the sound levels vary, use wave hammer, when
I have completed recording. Perhaps others can confirm, but I think the meters
controlled by that option are visual and not
accessible to screen reade
Dear Listers,
I have learned the rudimentary steps, to create regions, in Soundforge 6.0.
Now, I want to be able to create a CD, say from a live recording, with
tracks, that can be used, on a CD player, that has a numerical keypad, to
access tracks. I am having difficulty, at present, accessin
Mac, it would seem that you are ahead of me. Could you let me know the
rudimentary steps for creating regions?
Many thanks,
