Hello!
One thing i have found out when using the stream companion is that yu can
not select all notes end convert them in to wav files.
I think this is really bad because if you have many notes you'll have a lot
of extra work to do.
Or maybe blind people have extra time in their life-).

but it says I need 300kbps speed or faster and I only get about 100k
download speeds.

High Josh,
Isn't there something your internet provider can do about that?
I ask because DSL has gotten faster sense the last past 8 years.
You may wish to call or email them and ask them to increase the speed for
you.
My best regards.
John.

He's probably getting about 100 Kilo Bytes per second the stream is
requiring 300 Kilo Bits per second. So he should be fine. His DSL speed is
about 1 Mega Bit per second and is normal depending on his package and
distance from his switch.

Hello Tom,
I don't know exactly where you are here in the states, but most reps that I
spoke to, said that this service is not yet available.
If this is true, then why do they advertise it on their website?
I have been trying to get that thing to work for another blind friend of

First of all, the Comcast on demand is not useable by a blind person. For
now, comcast's answer to accessibility is to give you a nice big remote that
you can at least use for surfing. As far as I know, the on demand content
isn't accessible at all.

Hey guys,
When I play a bunch of files in winamp by selecting them and pressing enter or
when playing a CD from my CD ROM drive, winamp stops after each song. Is there
a way of having winamp playing through a bunch of files or cds continuously?
Thanks!

Hi,
I think maybe we should get together and try to get bills passed that would
force companies like comcast and video game companies to make their equiment

something has to be done. what happens in the year 2050 and beyo

Hi
What makes you think this?
In stream companion, go to notes tab, select the stream, hit space on all
the notes you want to select? Not that hard...imho, anyway. doesn't take
that long, iether.

None of my blind specific devices can handle WMA files. I'm curious to know
if anyone knows how much cost we're talking about for adding this support to
readers, note takers, ETC. As in how much would this add to each unit?
thanks

You should read more carefully please. The man stated it did nothing to
mess up settings for jaws users and you asked if there were any conflicts.
Please explain? Since we're none of us in the business of reviewing tech
