Only one statement will suffice to answer this question, FLAC is
smaller than Wave because its compressed.

Hi!
Anyone tried this recorder/editor on the PC? I'm using the Mac version
here and was wondering if PC users had played with the Windows version.
Things seem accessible enough with the Mac version but you have to
know exactly what you're doing. For one thing, keyboard shortcuts are

Hi Golden. I'd download the latest drivers for the AC-97 first. Make sure
the microphone is in the correct jack and that you know the microphone is
good and it has the proper Amperage. Also make sure the microphone
connection to the computer is tight and properly plugged in. Make sure if

Sure I have the windows version running here and it's a great little
windows editor as well. It's easy to use and quite accessible. I used to
use it for doing podcasts when I did them.

Easy CD-DA Extractor works best for combining multi-tracks into one output
file per cd, for me anyway.

Ived used CDEX to do the same thing. and I incodeit to flac and then later to
mp3 or ogg. Now if CDEX would only encode to aac
that would be nice but that's another subject for another day.

Well that comes through experience. I'd say listen to many broadcasting styles
and genres of music and see which works best for
you. I'm getting the hang of sp studio. I think it is going to be an
interesting tool to use.I have not streamed with it yet . I

Hi All. This has been around a few times, but I think I'm getting more and
more interested in getting a PC cassette deck; but I guess I want one that will
play phonograph records. An album I borrowed was put on a tape, transferred
from a record. My brother has this, and he asked me if I could

I need to attempt to reset the settings of Replay AV to factory ones; and
the program doesn't seem to allow this.
I created a problem last evening when tweeking something which causes
WE6.1 to stop talking, and can only be made to talk again upon a reboot.
Alternatively, I tried a reinstall
Just so that StationPlaylist isn't sold short here, while it does interface
with a range of Winamp-compatible streaming plug-ins, and is actually
bundled with Oddcast for streaming, the StationPlaylist suite is a full
broadcasting package. It is used in many radio stations around the world
now. Whi

look for it. You can store any number of configurations of volume control in
little files which you can invoke from anywhere and voila, your set to what
you saved.

You can also use goldwave's CD reader to rip a CD into a single track.

Interesting. it seem spretty good and I've ben playing with the functions
before even attempting to conect to a stream to test. I
do wonder. does the output you want have to be in stereo mix? the output I want
to use does not have one but I guess that's for
the station playlist list wich I'm in
Hi there sarah, no, because StationPlaylist has its own mixer and microphone
management, the output doesn't have to be on stereo mix. The advantage of
this is that if you only have one sound card with speech going through it,
listeners don't hear your speech.

Hey folks,
What is the best ripping method in Cdex? Is there one better than Standard?
There are four other options like paranoia something or other. Also can you
change the directory that cdex looks in to for files to convert?
