I agree. Cassette to Cd is quite Viable. I've transferred many of my own and
for customers with good results. If the cassette is in good shape, there's
no reason why it can't be transferred to a good CD. I would especially
recommend such a transfer if the cassette is one that you like to listen
Now, this is a new twist. since I've downloaded five files and received
errors on four of them because I had no passwords, I looked carefully at
this one. It downloaded successfully but there were two files. One is,
password,htm and it requires a password. I have no idea where to get one.

Yes, this is exactly what one can do with sound forge and
probably any decent sound editor. You record the 1 and 7 eighth
casette at 3 and a half. You, of course, hear one side forward and
the other backward at twice the normal speed. then you work with

another feature that winamp has is that one can add in any plugin that one
wants within reason. So you can have more filetypes supported like shn ogg
flac etc etc etc.

It seems to me that there's no reason in the world not to use both Winamp
and WMP. I've had both onboard for years and what I do is to use the
strengths of each player.

There's a whole web site dedicated to windows media player plug ins. You
can either download direct from there or ask the player to go and look for
plug ins and download them. These provide support for those file types as
well as a range of other features.
