I haven't observed this problem, but if you can pass along a specific

It's the DeltaControl Pannel which is the problem here. The hardware itself

Because of M-Audio's problems with Windows Media Center, I am thinking about

Yes, that
is it; and it has been it for at least the last 7 and a half years as WGN
was the first station I ever bookmarked on my Win98 machine.
In a world where streams seem to change with the season, WGN's stream,
like its on-the-air personalities, is a constant.

One other thought! Have you installed the enhanced audio driver on the
machine which doesn'
record. Initially, when I played with the demo, I discovered that unless
I had this installed, nothing would record.

"What you Hear" is a Sound Blaster thing. What you want is probably
labeled "Stereo Mixer" or "Mixer".

Hi Anders,
I used something like that about 25 years ago. It was a radio that slung
over your shoulders and the sounds went through your bones so you could hear
it. Not sure how much the technology has changed since then but the radio
called the "bone phone" did work pretty well.

I really hope that by bones you don't mean conducting through eardrums,
because that's just bad for your hearing.

When I first heard of the bone phone, I heard that the sound is conducted
through your shoulders. I tried one, and it's something you put around your
shoulders, but it seemed like there was no privacy, because I could hear
someone else wearing them!

yes it had speakers that faced your body on each end of the radio, so it
would still be possible to hear someone else wearing the unit. I think at
the time it really was a gimmick. I'd never seen anything more about
similar technologies to do this so don't know anything about anything that

that is not what Rick means. Rick like me had a bone phone which had the radio

speakers in it that rested on the neck and shoulders. it was pretty decent.

was the forerunner to the walkmans from Sony. radios
