I've ever played, the previous clip and next clip options are always

Yes one can fast forward and reverse through items in Real Player. The
clip or stream must be running. Holding down, I think it's
control+right arrow will fast forward and control+left arrow will
rewind. If it's not the control key then its' the alt.

Also, there is a jump command,
ctrl+e
which allows you to jump to any time within the file.

Hi All,
I thought nothing could be simpler, but when I sung my first track, things
started to go wrong. When I cam to play back, there was a huge gap at the
beginning. Then I recorded a second track, when I played back, I could hear
both, excellent. I added a third, but playing back I heard nothing
I have been told, 128 mono equals 256 stereo. If true, that should be good
enough.

When choosing the format to which you want to save a file in GoldWave, is there
any way to get the MP3 bit rate above 128?
Thanks.

Sure, just up-arrow. When I record my radio shows, the files are
consistently 192K MP3's. I could go higher if I wished.

Apparently I don't understand the purpose of normalizing. I was under the

one could average out the volume of a selected portion or an entire file.

Hello, if you want to use the normalization feature in SF, you would select
those parts which are lower than the rest, and normalize those one by one. I
should add a statement that the noise will spike up louder and drop lower,

Hi all.
I've got a shed load of oridginal Nintendo and Sega game cartridge

I want to convert these to mp3. I can play them back fine in Windows with a

One of the nice things about Gold Wave is that there's a GWAmp plugin for
it that lets you use Winamp effects plugins. So you can get a
compressor/limiter for Winamp, configure it just the way you like it, and
then get Gold Wave to process your file through it.
