Tracks Every" and tab 1 more time to the edit box and insert 60

Does anyone use Audacity successfully? I've got 1.2.6 up here. I can't
figure out a way to listen to the file after I've put an effect on it,
or even to listen to it at all unless I export it, which seems pretty
inefficient.

Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good speech friendly
program for listening to/viewing DVDs? I am certain there are but
never having used anything such as this I don't know of what might
work or not work. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly
