its a neat application, however the fact that the application, after
installation, requires you to fofill a capcha to create your acount is quite
bothersome. In addition the developement team has made it clear they have
no interest in changing this practice to accomidate blind users.

I have a c-media usb mike connected and installed to my compter.
I have a small question.
WHen i speak into the mike i can not hear my voice from my speakers.
Can this be done?
I mean it acts like a sound device in the volumecontrol so i see no reason why
it couldnt.

I don't have the solution, so would be interested in anything you find out.
My problem is similar, but much more severe because when I attempt to play
an audio cd in Winamp 5.24, the system reboots. I don't have this problem
with Windows Media Player ever. I have tried going back a few versions w
Hi Kevin,

Hello all,
I have asked a question before about sound coming out of 1 stereo desktop
speaker more than the other.
This is where the obvious, which isn't, comes in.
With the speaker balance set at 50 percent, a person should think that an
equal amount of sound would come out of each speakersho
hi,
In most sound cards, 50 percent is even on both speakers. Have you
checked the length of both cables running to the speakers? There could
be something wrong with one of them. That problem has happened to me
with headphones, and it's generally a cord being messed up somehow.

Hi Morey,
try changing your cables around to your speakers,
and see if the sound keeps coming less out of the same speaker.
If there is a change, then problem is in one of your cables.

Yeah, I've had the reboot happen to me a couple of times as well.
The only other thing I can think of is, I DID install that Transcoder plug-in a
few months back. It seems the problems started a bit after I installed that, so
maybe I'll remove it and see if that helps...Over all, I've found the

That used to happen to me back with the old Winamp 2 series...Once I upgraded
to 5 and above, the problem went away...Also, when that happened, I was running

I'm just wondering if anyone has come to a definitive conclusion about
whether it is safe for Jaws users to switch to Easy CD DA Extractor version

Is this version 10B, or a newer 10C? If it's B, I say stick with 9.1.3.
For some reason I don't understand, after working for a couple of days, the

serious problem with registering as a new user. The registration requires
typing in of a security code, and that security code is not accessible with

Hi Donna,
No offense to me at all. I am getting older, and you could very well be
correct.
Will try with stereo in basement and see if any noticeable difference. A
person does sit rather close to the speakers while working on computer.

Morey,
also, don't forget about the effect of the intrinsic acoustics of the space
