On the "fading" tab in the Direct Sound plugin configuration,
double-clicking on the option you want to toggle will do just that. Why

Patrick,
Why not just use the wave-out plug-in, instead? I still haven't found an
advantage to the Direct Sound plug-in.

Hi Kathy.
I have a pair of Sennheiser headphones which fold up and fit into a nice
little case with the cable wound around the outside. The sound quality is
good also.

Open Winamp and hit ctrl-p for preferences./it should land you at "File

Windows XP natively supports Direct Sound. It's far less resource
intensive to use Direct Sound Vs. the wave out plugin, and besides, the

Hello, everyone,
I need a couple recommendations:
First for a flash memory, audio/MP3 player, and
second, how to increase playback speed of MP3 files.
First, I have been using an iRiver ifP-795 flash player for over a
year. Twice now the switches in the joystick control have failed.
Otherwise,
with any of the popular sound editors, Goldwave, Sound Forge and
Studio Recorder, and probably others as well, you can compress mp3
files so that they play faster on mp3 players. Goldwave and Sound
Forge both can do this as batch jobs which is nice.

Hi Jeff,
Flash players. I had an Iriver 128MB MP3 player a while ago. I rather liked
it. My second, and current, flash player is a Samsung YP-U1. This is an
extremely cool player. It's extremely small in size, has the shape of a
rectangular prism. Controls are easy to use, there's audible feedback

tell me where to find step by step instructions? I get really scared when I
have to do something like this?
Thanks.
