Hi, all! Has this happened to any of you? I use an external sound card for
music, etc., and if I plug in headphones or my c-crane, it works fine until
I unplug them. Instead of my sound card simply playing through the speakers
again, it all gets silent until I reboot. So I have to reboot ev
Brandon, I'd like ifo on this program, I think, but my question is, can you
use that with Total Recorder or the cheaper version of Sound Forge or with
studio Recorder? I've been looking for a way to record all sorts of
effects, not just listen to them. I know Soundforge has a lot of those

You can install soundforge, and then ghave goldwave import those effects.

put in CD, and quick smart should come up, then tab once, right arrow to
choose CD, tab once more, right arrow to favorites, down arrow to make audio

hi kathy,
Can't help with the external sound card bit, but I've got a pair of
headphones. They're made by jenson, or jensen, or some such. They cost about
50 canadian dollars when I got them last year. They fold up pretty small,
not the smallest I've seen but they do fold. The neat thing about them

The old version of Narrator that came with Windows 2000 let you change voices.
Why did they limit it with the XP version? There's a listbox and everything, it

Hi
How did you find using allofmp3.com,
I see the site is out of Russia. I have always been a little nervous giving
credit card info to some of these places.
Probably, one of the reasons for this is cause I work for a bank.
The site looks interesting.

Hi Brad
Interestingly enough, they do not handle credit card transactions
themselves. You are directed to another site called chronopay,.com [I'm not
sure of the spelling] which handles all the credit transactions. They state
explicitly that no credit information is kept by allofmp3.com.
I have
Hi
I'm very pleased with the site and know a number of people who use it
regularly, my computer guy who's an accountant by trade is one of them, a
number of blind people too,
It was simple to use, I had problems getting to grips with putting money on
to my balance at first but think I can cope
I think the people who deal with the money are in the States as I'm sure
I've seen one of their toll free numbers somewhere.

Thanks I have been looking for a site like this for awhile.
When you download the albums are they complete albums, or individual
tracks which make up the album? By the way, I too use Nero six to make
allot of my cds. Quite user friendly once you get the hang of it.

Hi Brad
The site is very accessible and you can choose whether you want to download
single tracks or the whole album.
And the thing I like most is the fact that you can choose the encoding you
want to use. You actually do not pay by track, but for the bandwidth you
use. Therefore the higher you
Hi, Brad! I've used allofmp3 for a couple of years with no problem with my
credit card. My only concern these days is that allofmp3's legality is
questionable because they may not, in fact, be paying all the license fees
for musicians that I'd thought they were paying, but I'm not even sure ab

Kathy,
Sounds to me as if, when you plug in your headphones, they're stealing away
the default audio device assignment from your sound card, just as, when I
plug in my USB skype headset, it steals away the default audio assignment
from my inboard sound card. This presents a particular problem,
Hi Cathy
Thanks for that. I have ordered different products bia the internet without
insident. It is not so much that I am paranoid , but I have always been
leery of these mp3 download internet providers. I live in Toronto Canada
and there was a place here which I just checked out and to this
technically, it's legal, but the RIAA is telling the government to tell
rusia that if they don't take that site down, they won't be alloud to stay
or enter into the I think w t o. Pretty sad when the RIAA can put demands
on the government like that.
