Shagum! There is a PDF R-1 manual on my web site at
www.chirpingbat.com/manuals
I haven't read the whole thing but it seems to read OK with Adobe
Reader.
Any portable speaker that you'd use with a computer should work OK with
the R-1.

Hi Arnaud
Thanks man! Now I just have to get hold of the scripts he also has. But I

The page is in italian yes but if you listen carefully you can get an idea
where to download the programme.
Suppose it helps when you live in a country with
I downloaded, and installed both the program and the scripts.
The program has support for multiple languages
and naturally, I chose the the english installation, and had no problems.
So far, the program works as advertised.

My knowledge and experience of sound cards is limited to internal cards
which I have had on my last few computers. So please excuse this question

my 75 watt per channel hi-fi and 20 inch speakers? Or are soun

Kathy you have to add that "Synth1Port" line from scratch. You have
the following three lines:
Synth1Name=eloq
Synth1LongName=Eloquence for JAWS
Synth1Driver=eloq
Now add; the fourth line:
Synth1Port=MY SYNTH
"MY SYNTH" is the name of your audio device found in Control Panel,
