Hi:
It seems that Rockbox will support the Iriver H10 series when they get
aroung to it. If I were you though, I would make an extra effort to acquire
an Iriver H300 series unit. The newer units are more focused on their
ability to display video now. You should be able to pick up an Iriver H3

Hi Nektarios.
I've been very impressed with the creative zen 20GB player I recently
bought. You can add music to the player using a standard windows explorer
interface and copy and paste. It also has a touchpad for navigation but you
are able to switch on a 'clicker' and therefore count the menu
Because new and varying copy-protection schemes are constantly coming out.
This is made clear by the frequent updates to Any DVD.

Yes, it is an older modell, but an even better one in my oopinion. It

Exactly Bruce. I think perhaps Brian thought I was suggesting getting
updated software simply for newer features. However with DVD decryption
one needs to stay constant to keep up with decryption methods similarly

Hi Folks:
May first is targeted to be the next major release of Rockbox. There has
been major changes in the way in which speech will be accessed.
For anyone interested: do not install the latest builds of rockbox on your

Wait, I don't understand what you mean. Isn't Anydvd a piece of decryption
software. If it is then you should be aware that if the movie industry has
it's way even Anydvd won't be around much longer. They seem to have more
power than the music industry.

No different than DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, or any other sort of DVD
cloning/backup program whether it does it directly or indirectly.
Perhaps they may not be around much longer but that does not change the
fact that currently AnyDVD will decrypt some of the newer DVDs out
there. Even more so
I also agree with this statement. You'd be surprised at all the new
encryption methods out there.

Hi Kevin. In all honesty you are off using a combination of AnyDVD to
decrypt the DVDs and DVD Shrink to shrink down the DVDs and later burn
them to 4.7 DVD blank media unless you have DVD DL media in which case
simply using AnyDVD along with any DVD copying software like Nero will
do the trick
No matter what people are telling you, you do need clonedvd2 to shrink down
a dual layer dvd to a 4.7GB size which will fit on a single sided single
layered DVDRom. Nero won't cut it. I don't know if there is a way to stop
dvdshrink from trying to decrypt a DVD, but since anydvd does that then
Exactly what I meant. It looks like this software developer is trying to
get around the court's ruling by separating the decrypter from the shrinker
and dvd writer. Well, enjoy it while you can because I predict it won't be
around much longer.

Hi,
Yes, its older, slightly larger and with a much more sturdy
feel. Yes, rock box does support this unit. There is an mp3 demo of
this unit and rock box at the molsen explosion web site. If you
can't find it, I have it and could forward it to you. Let me know.
