Hi Jay, If you're gonna stream in a good quality your upstream is the importent part not your downstream. I don't know what the actual plan are for your area, but if you could get an upstream of 512 Kbps you'll be well suted for this. 256 will work to some extend though. I have 768 up and 4 megs
