Hi listers. I have a Phillips home theater system that has a progressive
scan dvd player in it. Some of my mp3s won't play correctly, including mp3s
made with k1000 using eloquence. Is there any fool proof way to write these
files so they will play? Thanks in advance.

hi, not sure yet, i've not had chance to explore it. you'd definately need
sighted help to learn the menus and options etc, but that's the same with
most electrical stuff. from the descriptions/reviews, once you've learned
the layout and order of options, i'd guess you could manage on your own.

Timidity++ is a realtime midi to wave and wave to midi synthesizer. I can't
seem to get any sound out of it. I'm wondering if someone could take a look
at this windows freeware synthesizer and see what can be done. It is
available at http://timidity.sourceforge.net/ and from many other sites.

Also, I might add another problem with the scripts and Skype, is that I
can't tell which person I am pointing at, in my call/contacts list unless I
use the menus to dial them. Also, dido, the same considerations regarding
instant messaging.

Hello, now can anyone describe how to do the opposite. I've perhaps
forgotten to put in a track marker somewhere in a file, and I'd like to
update the list to reflect the new set of markers.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Charles. I use Jaws 5, and it works fine for me. I have Nero 5.5. I
can go to the Wizard, and it points you to burn either a data CD or music
CD. After you've select tracks to be burned, use the alt f and w, and then
you're ready to go. I hope this helps.
