I have played around with Simian. At least it was the demo version of
Simian. The program didn't work well out of the box. Maybe with a little
creative jfw scripting the software may be able to be made accessible.
Here's just a quick note. Simian isn't a production program. It is a

these are the same noaa voices that I hear up here in New England. They've
probably adopted that program all around the nation. Yes, I think the male
voice is great.

Yes the NOAA, is using these voices nationwide.
In their station ID, they used to say,"noaa weather radio", now it
says,"noaa all hazards radio".
At least that is what it
is there a place I can download these voices at as far like a sapi speech

Hi,
No, my area still says noaa weather radio. Maybe we're not as prone to
other type hazzards around here, though the weather, winter more so than
summer, sure does present enough excitement.

No, but I would like to find a demo copy or something like that to try out.
Our radio group is using it to automate their stations, and if I could get
it to work, I could become a much more valuable employee to them than I am
now. Can you tell me where I can get a demo copy?

appears, but it's not hyperlinked. Maybe their stream is temporarily down.
