Where Is MP3 In Sound Forge 7, Please?

A while back, I upgraded from Sound Forge 6 to Sound Forge 7. I have mostly used SF in .wav files, but last week I tried to open an MP3 file in SF 7, only to be told it is an unsupported format. I think I recall being able to edit MP3 in SF 6. How do I get what I need to handle MP3 files in SF 7

Well I'm using Nero 6. there are 2 menu choices in the track properties dialog box the first being track properties and the second being filters. By default you will be in track properties. Just shift-tab (left) until you hear "ok" and then one more shift-tab which will put you on to the cross-fade
