Yes, I was wondering that, I had heard somewhere about new compression that
halves the file size, but keeps the original MP3 quality - think it might
have been in connection with WM files. Maybe somebody knows more?

Hi Andy,
If you can format your blank cd for data, then you open windows explorer and
copy your mp3s to cd. I am still using adaptek's easy cd creater 4.2 and
choose data disk or something like that.

Usually when you buy blank cds they are unformatted. If you want cds
formatted specifically for audio you usually have to ask for them. I think
these cds are for folk who have these stand alone cd read/writers which can

I copied a CD onto my computer converting it to MP3 files using CD-Ex.
I then chose an album, and I wrote it onto a CD.
That went fine; however, I then added four more albums and wrote these

What happened is: my CD will now play the first track of each album,

It sounds like you didn't rearrange the song list before burning them to cd.
You might try redoing the package first, rearranging the song list.

Hi. Is anyone using this program? I can use it just fine to rip audio

Raul,
No, I haven't been able to access the menus in the DVD Audio ripper, but most of the
options you'd want to set can already be accessed in the various combo boxes in the
main screen.

The phrase "no loss of quality" is deceiving. When MP3 came out, 128-bit
was touted as "CD-quality". Now, while it is certainly acceptable for
many, no one is saying that it is CD-quality any more. Audio compression
will, I believe, always result in some quality loss: it may be

Hi Bruce. That could be true. I've heard that with MP3 files, the quality
can vary, because the bit rates for each song recorded in that format have
bit rates that vary.
