If you have a high speed connection, try mlb.tv. Their audio sounds great,
and it is in stereo in some cases. I know people are just glad gameday
audio is available, but it needs to sound better. Real networks and
microsoft have the technology to make it sound better, and those who

Absolutely. It is good to know that at least there are some blind people
unwilling to put up with an inferior product. I did subscribe to MLB TV
because it sounds like Yahoo sports, but there should be no need to do that.
This will be the last year I subscribe to Game-day Audio even if they

mlb tv is fantastic, and for the extra little bit, it's worth it but i agree
that the game day audio is fairly ordinary, although the real audio feeds do

Thank you Tim. You should let mlb.com know how you feel. Maybe if enough
of us said something about it, they would listen. It can't hurt. I did
that with the NFL field pass, and things got better as the season went
along. I'm not saying it was because of me. I'm just saying if enough

Are you using an uni-directional or Omni-directional mike? Omni will pick
up anything that is coming from each side and in front. Uni will just pick
up what is in front of it.

Now-a-days that kind of audio quality will not cut the mustard, but MLB will
probably figure that the reason they are seeing a decline in their game-day
subscriptions is due to Baseball's unpopularity, not realizing that they
only need to increase their audio streams about 4K BPS and they would be
Hi Chuck. I think I just heard someone tell me that the audio quality of

Hi Tom,
Likewise I would like to know this too as I am seriously thinking about
buying the 4 10 firewire card. I haven't seen a response to this posting so
if you've had off-list answeres I would be grateful if you could share them
with me. I know of another guy in the south of England who is vi
As far as directional or not.
I cannot answer that question.
I would think it is the version that picks up from all directions.
Is this bad?
Could the version that picks up only in front of it be the better choice?
Thanks.

Good evening all,
I have been trying to find out how to do a multiple split of very large mp3

Hey all,
I'm back, under a new email address.
Well, I have a problem. Lately when I have opened Cool Edit, all it says is:

I can't go to any menu's, or anything like that, and I can't even close C.E.
Does anyone know what I can do so that I can use Cool Edit again?

I'm considering bying this instead of the archos players since it plays .ogg
and the rockbox software doesn't support that. How accessible is this
player? I know it doesn't have speech, but is it easy to memorize the menus,
does it work with jaws to transfer files, and so on. Appreciate any info.
