hi brent, my findings indicate that kurzweil is the fastest of the tts readers. I converted a bunch of books at extremely slow rates, and it read 18 hours of audio in like 30 minutes. none of the others did this, and kurzweil makes my fan operate as i'm on a laptop however it doesn't slow down any
