radio I record, and wouldn't

What's to explain? Sound Forge is a more polished and
highly-developed program than Goldwave. I use Goldwave, but for most
things, Sound Forge is at least its equal. So, while I haven't
tested it, it doesn't surprise me that its converters are faster than
Goldwave's.

Same format, same parameters? If you are a registered Gold Wave user, ask
Chris and see what he says.

when saving a file in gold wave that is 15 minutes and 52 seconds long it takes
about 10 minutes to do this
but in sound forge it only takes about 2 to 4 minutes
