Peter! I don't know of any official reviews of the R-1. I only know
what I've read on lists that I belong to. Hopefully a real review on Main
Menu or so is near to hand.

Well my c crane recorder just died the other day, and I am looking at options
as to what to buy to record talk shows lasting four to five hours off the radio.
would a mini disk recorder give a better quality recording on slow speed than
the c crane?
what about the newer digital recorders out
