Hi Betsy, also, some sound cards have check boxes that allow you to mix your inputs, just as you can in the playback properties. If this is the case, you must check everything that you don't want recorded, such as the wave out and the stereo mix, which some sound cards call what you hear! HTH: J

Hello, I recently installed GoldWave version 5.19 on a computer for the first time and when I went to record, the only thing I got was what JFW was saying. I tried changing input sources with no luck and am completely baffled! I am running XP home with jfw 8 and wonder if the problem is with
