there is a little switch on the right side of the IMic which is used for Mic
or Line input. look beside the headphone jack and you should find it. it
isn't a lever as such, but feels like part of the sound card. it slides back

Indeed, that's a good enough reason as any. The Sound Blaster Live
packed it in on one of my Windows boxes but not to worry, off to buy
another Imic so if anything breaks down in the Sound device
department ever again, the replacement job will only take 5 seconds
instead of ten mi
