I am needing to find the developer of makemkvd to ask to see if they will
enable the QT accessibility features.
Once this is done it will be usable, but I'm not having any luck contacting
them yet.

I don't know much about bluray ripping, but there's a program called
AutoMkv that can help you to rip a dvd into mkv format. For demuxing
streams from a bluray a command line software called eac3to should do
the job.

Hi, is anyone doing this ripping their dvds or blueray movies to mkv files?
They play very nice with the vlc media player.
