Yes, it actually works great with WE 7.01. But your point is a good one. I wonder if one of those funky WE scripts is causing my file abort. Surely not, but still, it's worth a thought. Clearly, I've become the unrestrained paranoia poster boy. LOL I seem to have no problems editing with it;

Hi Nolan, and this sounds very very anoying! First off I'm not on SF9, but still using SF7. I had issues rather like this last year and found updating my soundcard driver to be the solution. To make a general point, updating drivers for soundcards, video and keyboard is a really good idea anyway
