Matthew,There is a box to uncheck Windows sounds, but using software speech
it would almost certainly pick up JAWS, at least that is my experience
running Windows 98. I think I once heard of someone using XP to do what you
want, but most people seem to use hardware speech, and even then you may

you're recording from software as the software speech uses the same audio
channel as the Internet audio stream, only ways round this to my knowledge
is either to use a hardwa

thus would record Jaws and other interference? I can mute Jaws, but every
once in a while, the sound card makes these noises, not Windows sounds
either.
