I am told that the problem with not getting satellite radio in Canada
has to do with the Canadian media making sure that they get their fair cut
out of any revenue from this service.

Hi. Actually, a few of the talk and comedy channels are included as well.
You get XM Comedy 150,and High Voltage 202 featuring Opie & Anthony.
Note that channel blocking isn't available on the online service, so if one
of the channels offends you, simply turn it off and go onto something else.
There may be a conflict with Major League Baseball; this may be one reason
why XM On Line cannot carry the baseball games! But what you get with XM On
Line is just the music channels; that's all..but actually that's qquite a
few channels!

Hi Bruce. That doesn't sound like a fair way for XM to do business.

I would like to have it myself. Regretably, they will not offer their
services to Canada, not even the online service.

hi
This is kind of true, kind of not. if you are a current XM Radio
subscriber, then yes, it *is* free.
However, if you are not currently an xm radio subscriber, you can purchase
a subscription for xm radio online for $7.99 a month I believe it is. Or
you can become a regular subscriber for $12
No..it's not free; you can get a 3-day "trial" version; go to
www.xmonline.com for more details.

Hi Rusty: Yeah..it's even a little better for users of older versions of
Jaws..such as myself; to really reap the benefits of the new changes, one
really needs a newer version of Jaws..I have sadly discovered! I am
currently using Jaws 3.7U..but hope to upgrade to 6 in the near future; this
