The USB actually, and this is a good thing, has a stereo headphone jack,
so a stereo to stereo patch cord would probably be optimal to the sound
goes through both speakers.

Randy! Does your DEC-Talk have an earphone jack? Run a cable between
the DEC-Talk's earphone jack and the computer's Line In jack. You can get
the cable at Radio Shack. It would probably have an eighth inch mono phone
plug on either end. It probably costs less than $5.

Just run a standard patch cord from the headphone jack in the DEC-Talk to
the line in jack on your sound card.
