Hi.
I used one for a while. I took it back. It had bad performance. You'll
probably find one that works much better than the creative sound blaster
live 24 bit one I tried.

Could you tell me where the device manager is located? Cause I tried to
check in the ControlPanel, and could not find it.
Thanks!

There should be an option in device manager for the device. On my headset
it's called do not map through this device, and checking that makes it never
become default unless you tell it to. It's a little buried in there under
USB audio device, properties, and USB audio device again for some reaso
yes its very easy to chose the sources

Thanks for the information
Have either of you needed to use the card with either a mic or line in jack?
And, if you did, were there separate check boxes for line in and mic in the
volume control?
If so, could you provide the model number so I can Google on the
m your
sound card. With two sound cards, I do not have this problem.

the be
the best usb sound card for its price is creatives mp3 plus. They can be
found on ebay for under 20 dollars. They are decent sized, nonpowered, have
a mic in, which is not very good, a headphone out and 4 rca ports 2 in and 2
out, which are unbelievably clean.
