Go through the process of selecting stereo again and make sure you have tabbed
to ok. See if that fixes your problem. In a previous edition of SF I found
that I've made changes and thought I had changed back, but that second change
didn't take.

I think your bang on when you state that the Sigmatell audio on the Dell is
your problem.
You likely will have to upgrade your card as I believe this is a known issue
with the Dell laptop sound drivers.
Just my own thoughts and others might correct me ASAP...Cheers.

Try to find a machine using RealTek sp I tested Acer at the store and it

I have them and will be testing them soon with Version 9. I had a heck of a
time getting SF9 to even load due to ASIO driver problems with my three
sound cards (don't even ask LOLOL). I will report back on the list with
what I find.
