I don't contribute much to the list admittedly, but every now and

That used to happen to me back with the old Winamp 2 series...Once I upgraded
to 5 and above, the problem went away...Also, when that happened, I was running
a Gateway PC with Windows 98SE as the operating system.

Yeah, I've had the reboot happen to me a couple of times as well.
The only other thing I can think of is, I DID install that Transcoder plug-in a
few months back. It seems the problems started a bit after I installed that, so
maybe I'll remove it and see if that helps...Over all, I've found the

My problem is similar, but much more severe because when I attempt to play
an audio cd in Winamp 5.24, the system reboots. I don't have this problem
with Windows Media Player ever. I have tried going back a few versions w
