I don't know about jaws, but I have for some time successfully run a 2
soundcard system, using the standard built in one for window-eyes, and an
alesis IO2 USB box for other audio stuff, and have never had any problems.
I will say however, that this is under win-xp, and I am not sure if the IO2

its about 8 months old the model but still selling - and I've found the card

I think your problem is with jaws. I had no problems with earlier versions
of jaws in the sound card properties.

The Montego is the replacement card for turtle beach. I'm glad I went this
route this time. The SBLive had an interesting issue I couldn't pinpoint at
the time, but now I think it has to do with the real time resampling it
does. When I'd play talk content through it, I'd have to restart playback
I like the Audigy 2... but the software is very inaccessible. But if you can
get sighted assistance to set it up and if you get the 8.1 speaker system
the sound will be fantastic.
