I just found another audio interface that may be what some of us are looking
for. It is the Cakewalk V-Studio 100.
The description sounds a lot like the Edirol FA-66 but with inputs and
outputs plus hardware mixer with motorised faders and daw controls on the
top. It even has some built in h
but don't remember what for. Don't know what kind
of digital connections it uses.

at once? If so the Edirol FA-66 is a nice audio device. The software is
only used for setting buffers and latency. Everything else is done on the
box with real hardware controls and not one menu.
